Lisa Petker Mintz of Plainview, NY, www.LisaPetkerMintz.com, will be exhibiting art work Lilies, Posies, Hyacinths, Oh My! #4 11 x 13 Sumi Ink at the upcoming "Spring Into Summer" exhibition at the N.A.W.A. Gallery, 80 Fifth Avenue, Suite 1405, New York, NY 10011. The show runs from May 22 – July 16, 2008, M-F, 11 am - 5 pm. Approximately 125 N.A.W.A. members will imaginatively interpret "Spring Into Summer" in a variety of media. Conveniently located in the Union Square area of Manhattan, the exhibition is a national show that includes the work of women artists from all across the country.

The artists' reception will be held on Thursday, May 29th from 4 - 7 pm and all are welcome. 

First founded in 1889, the mission of the National Association of Women Artists (N.A.W.A.) is to promote women artists with the goal of attaining full recognition of the scope of their achievements. Through its exhibitions, programs and archives, it fosters awareness of the important contributions of women artists of all backgrounds and traditions. 

Headquartered in New York City, the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. is the oldest professional fine arts organization for women in the United States, and celebrates the art of its more than 800 members nationally. The Jane Voorhees Museum at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey houses the ongoing archives and permanent collection of the organization.
